Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) – Travel Contracts

Salt & Stone is looking for Registered Massage Therapists interested in travel-based contract opportunities in Northern Saskatchewan and the Flin Flon/Creighton area.

This position is ideal for RMTs who enjoy concentrated work periods, travel opportunities, and the ability to supplement their existing practice with scheduled northern rotations. You do not have to work at our main clinic(s) to have a travel contract!

OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

MINE SITE ROTATIONS

RMTs can travel for scheduled week-long rotations providing massage therapy services at our mine location.

- Week-long contract shifts Wed to Wed
- Includes bus trip, lodging and 24/7 meal access
- Concentrated appointment schedule while on site
- Travel-based opportunity rather than a permanent relocation
- Work with a consistent client base in a professional workplace setting on a daily basis during this 7 day rotation
- Must be comfortable travelling and staying away from home for the duration of the scheduled rotation

CREIGHTON / FLIN FLON COVERAGE

We are also looking for RMTs interested in travelling independently to provide coverage in the Creighton and Flin Flon area.

- Flexible contract dates based on therapist and clinic availability ranging 2+ days
- Therapist is responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the area at their cost
- Lodging and Meal Coverage supplied
- Great option for RMTs wanting occasional travel contracts or additional earning opportunities
- Opportunity to return for future shifts based on demand and availability

ABOUT THE ROLE

RMTs are responsible for providing professional, client-focused massage therapy within their scope of practice. Therapists must complete appropriate assessments, treatment planning, informed consent and clinical documentation for each client.

Our administrative team assists with scheduling,



client communication and clinic operations so practitioners can focus primarily on providing treatment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide professional massage therapy treatments
- Complete assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment/SOAP notes
- Obtain and document informed consent
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Follow clinic policies and professional standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and professional treatment workplace
- Communicate professionally with clients, administration and management
- Represent Salt & Stone professionally while working at northern locations and partner sites
- Maintain reliable attendance for all accepted contract dates

QUALIFICATIONS

- Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with a recognized association
- Up to date malpractice and liability insurance (mine required)
- Minimum 2 million vehicle insurance (creighton required, and mine required if you decide to self drive to site)
- Current First Aid/CPR

Although there are less benefits in place for casual/travel contracts than our full time contracts we do still have opportunities available such as CE discounts and course opportunities, lodging and expense coverage, raises and more. GST is paid out to all contractors. Wages stated in this add are the minimum and maximum commission we pay at any of our clinics, offers are based on numerous factors, and do not include add on pricing such as for hot stone therapy, cupping therapy or other treatments that are at a different rate but a basic breakdown. Actual percentage breakdown ranges 50-70%.
