Pay: $70,000–$75,000 per year, plus $5,000–$10,000 bonus potential

Post & Row Brewing Co. is hiring a full-time General Manager for our independent eatery and brewery in Dawson Creek, BC. This is a permanent leadership position. The General Manager is the primary management presence during service, responsible for team leadership, daily operations, guest experience, and consistent service standards.

The role reports to the Head of Business Operations and is intended to grow into broader operational ownership, including scheduling, tip-outs, and inventory. This is not a scheduled floor-server position. The General Manager may provide coverage on the floor when required.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary on-floor manager during service and ensure the team operates smoothly
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and maintain consistent service, hospitality, and cleanliness standards
- Coach staff, lead by example, and support a professional, hardworking team culture
- Address guest concerns promptly, calmly, and effectively
- Report daily to the Business Operations & Front of House Manager and uphold established business practices
- Progressively assume ownership of scheduling, tip-outs, inventory, and related operational tasks
- Step into service only when coverage is required

Qualifications

- 5-7 years of restaurant experience




- Minimum 2 years of management experience; prior General Manager experience is an asset
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead a team, take direction, and remain composed under pressure
- Availability for a full-time restaurant leadership schedule, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods as required
- Commitment to a long-term, full time restaurant career

Formal education is an asset but not required. Work ethic, reliability, and operational discipline are essential.

Compensation and benefits
