Job Summary

Milestone Foster Homes is seeking an experienced Clinical Practice Educator to support the growth and development of staff and caregivers across our out-of-home care programs. This is a newly created position and is ideal for an experienced Child and Youth Care or Social Service Work professional who is passionate about mentoring others, building capacity, and promoting trauma-informed, relationship-based care.

What You'll Do

· Deliver orientation, training, and ongoing clinical education.

· Coach and mentor staff and caregivers across a variety of settings.

· Model trauma-informed, attachment-based, and relational approaches to care.

· Support staff in implementing individualized support and safety plans.

· Observe practice, provide constructive feedback, and promote consistency in service delivery.

· Partner with clinical leadership to enhance learning, practice, and quality of care.

· This is a current role and therefore the roles/responsibilities/duties can be added, changed, or amended as the position evolves.

Qualifications

· Diploma in Child and Youth Care (CYC) or Social Service Work (SSW), or a related human services field.

· Minimum 3 years of frontline experience supporting children, youth, and families.

· Experience in out-of-home care, child welfare, or mental health settings.

· Strong facilitation, coaching,



and interpersonal communication skills.

· Knowledge of trauma-informed, attachment-based, and relational practice.

Requirements

· Valid Ontario driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

· Ability to travel throughout the GTA, Hamilton, Barrie, and Peel Region.

· Police Record Check (BRC) or willing to obtain

· Child Welfare Check or willing to obtain

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
