Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will utilize specialized techniques to restore vehicles by removing minor dents and dings without damaging the original paint finish. Your expertise will help maintain the appearance and value of our customers’ vehicles while contributing to our reputation for exceptional service.

Compensation

- This position is compensated through a commission-based pay structure.
- Earnings are based on individual performance and productivity.
- Compensation will be administered in accordance with applicable provincial employment standards legislation.
- Expected earnings range: $55,000 - $65,000, with opportunity for higher earnings based on performance.

Responsibilities

- Use hand tools and power tools to carefully manipulate metal panels and remove dents without repainting or refinishing
- Assess vehicle damage to determine the most effective PDR techniques and plan repair procedures accordingly
- Work efficiently to complete repairs within designated timeframes while maintaining high quality standards
- Handle heavy lifting when moving or positioning vehicles or parts during the repair process
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use




- Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding repair progress and expectations
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience preferred, with a strong understanding of vehicle structures and mechanics
- Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Experience with automotive dent repair methods such as PDR techniques and related processes
- Familiarity with dealership standards and customer service expectations is a plus
- Ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in various positions for extended periods
- Mechanic experience or background in automotive repair highly desirable
- Robust attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
