Family Physicians – North Bay, Ontario

Near North Family Health Organization (FHO) is recruiting family physicians to join our established group serving North Bay, Callander, and the surrounding area.

Our FHO offers the flexibility to build a comprehensive family medicine practice that reflects your qualified interests and preferred scope of practice.

Two Practice Streams Available

Comprehensive Practice / Hospital-Privileged Stream
For physicians wishing to maintain Active Privileges at North Bay Regional Health Centre and provide continuity of care for their patients when admitted to hospital. Active privileges also include participation in NBRHC’s Hospitalist Program, providing shared inpatient coverage for unattached patients and patients whose family physicians do not hold hospital privileges.

Community Practice Stream
For physicians wishing to focus on comprehensive community-based family medicine without hospital privileges, with an increased contribution to the FHO's shared after-hours clinic.





Physicians in either stream may pursue additional clinical interests, including emergency medicine, long-term care, palliative care, surgical assisting, newborn care, chronic disease management, medical education, and other opportunities.
