We are looking for Part-Time Behavioural Interventionists to provide adult support in Coquitlam. This role focuses on communication, daily living skills, emotional regulation, and community participation through a respectful, person-centred approach.

Description of Duties
As a Behavioural Interventionist, you will work as part of a support team under the direct mentorship and supervision of a Behavioural Consultant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing individualized programs and support strategies as directed by the Behavioural Consultant.
- Supporting communication, daily living skills, emotional regulation, and independence while respecting the individual’s choices and autonomy.
- Supporting transitions and participation in community activities, including walks and public transit.
- Assisting with health-related routines following specific training provided by a nurse. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.
- Collecting data and monitoring, recording, and reviewing progress with team members.
- Maintaining an organized workplace and properly storing materials and documentation.
- Attending and participating in regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Participating in shadowing, training sessions, and session recordings in accordance with consent and organizational procedures.
- Applying feedback from the Behavioural Consultant to ensure consistent support.
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is an asset, particularly experience working with adults.
- Applicants studying Psychology, Special Education, Community Support, Speech & Language Pathology, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Self-motivated, reliable, patient, and enthusiastic, with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable supporting adult autonomy and providing respectful, individualized care.
- Willing to complete additional training, including training for health-related support responsibilities.
- Comfortable participating in community outings and using public transit during sessions.
- Able to travel reliably to the service location in Coquitlam.
- Available for at least two daytime session blocks per week, Monday through Thursday, with a commitment of at least one year.
