Little Valley Montessori is looking for a warm, caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Montessori Toddler Teacher to join our team.

We are looking for an educator who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers and can provide a calm, nurturing and engaging classroom environment while following Montessori philosophy and practices.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and maintaining a beautiful, organized Montessori environment
- Presenting age-appropriate Montessori activities and materials
- Supporting children's independence, social-emotional development and daily routines
- Observing and documenting children's development and progress
- Maintaining appropriate supervision and classroom safety
- Communicating professionally and warmly with families
- Working collaboratively with other educators
- Following all centre policies and Ontario child-care licensing requirements





Qualifications:

- Montessori Toddler training or Montessori teaching experience preferred
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed child-care setting
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, patient, caring and skilled

Position: Full-time
Location: Richmond Hill, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday
