Looking for individual to cover shifts in the afternoons and evenings and every other weekend in the morning. 4 to 5 shifts a week ranging from 2 to 5 hours in length.

Looking for help of a fantastic assistant to help with caregiving and daily household tasks of a wonderful woman who is an ASIA D quadriplegic.

What You'll Be Doing (with a Dash of Deliciousness!):

As our Personal Care Assistant, you'll be her go-to person for essential daily support, always with a smile! Your day might involve:

* Helping with transfers, personal hygiene (think showering, grooming, flossing and getting ready for the day!).

*In and out catheterization.

* Whipping up tasty meals that nourish both body and soul! If you love to cook and know your way around a kitchen, this is a huge plus!

* Driving to appointments.

* Guiding her through daily exercises to keep her strong and limber.

* Handling bathroom accidents with care and discretion.

* Guiding her through range of motion (ROM) exercises.

* Keeping her space nice and clean with full housekeeping duties.

* Providing medication reminders .

What We're Looking For:





We're hoping to find someone who's not only skilled but also genuinely kind and enthusiastic. You're probably a great fit if you have:

* willingness to learn

* Serious skills in the kitchen! Knowing how to cater to different dietary needs is a big bonus.

* A compassionate heart, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.

* And speaking of making things happen, you'll need to be legally eligible to work in Canada!

* you must have your full G drivers license and driver training completed in Canada or five years of driving experience in Canada.

* you must be willing to update to this year's Covid and flu vaccines

A four dollar travel top up will be given for all shifts less than three hours

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
