Our client is a growing HVAC and building products organization seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative to support business development efforts across Ontario. This position will involve travel across an Ontario territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new dealer and contractor relationships, supporting existing customers, promoting HVAC and heat pump solutions, and contributing to continued sales growth throughout the assigned territory.

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

Business Development & Territory Growth

· Identify, prospect, and develop current dealer, contractor, and distribution relationships throughout Ontario.

· Generate new business opportunities and contribute to the continued expansion of the customer base.

· Support the growth and market penetration of HVAC and heat pump product offerings.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing customers.

Account Management & Customer Support

· Support existing customer accounts by providing ongoing service, follow-up, and relationship management.

· Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate support activities with internal teams.

· Assist customers with product selection, applications, pricing, and available incentive programs.

· Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and follow-up meetings both in person and virtually.

Sales Coordination & Product Promotion

· Promote HVAC and heat pump solutions to contractors, dealers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.

· Coordinate with internal sales, customer service, and operations teams regarding quotations, orders, product availability, and delivery requirements.

· Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities within company systems.

· Support product launches, sales initiatives, trade shows,



and promotional events as required.

Industry Knowledge & Professional Development

· Develop and maintain a strong understanding of HVAC systems, heat pump technologies, and market trends.

· Stay informed on industry developments, competitive offerings, and government rebate or incentive programs.

· Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to expand product and market knowledge.

· Travel throughout the assigned Ontario territory as required to support customers and develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

· Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 1-3 years of sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing experience.

· Experience within HVAC, building products, mechanical products, wholesale distribution, or a related industry is required.

· Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

· Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, develop, and grow within a sales-focused environment.

· Proven ability to build relationships and develop new business opportunities.

· Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.

· Knowledge in HVAC technologies, heat pumps, energy efficiency, and electrification initiatives.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using CRM systems is considered an asset.

· Valid Ontario driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

· Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

· Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
