Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helper/Carpenter Helper to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled carpenters and construction professionals in completing a variety of building projects. This role offers a great chance to learn carpentry, woodworking, and construction skills. You will also help create high-quality builds. The ideal candidate is energetic and eager to learn. They are ready for physically demanding tasks. They keep a positive attitude.

Duties

- Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools
- Support the installation of Concrete, walls, flooring, siding, roofing, Tiling, Finishing, and cabinetry
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools
- Help with installation of tile, Caulking, concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry tasks as needed
- Carry out heavy lifting and material transportation around the job site safely
- Perform general handyman tasks including caulking, painting preparation, and minor repairs

Requirements





- Prior construction experience or related hands-on work in carpentry or woodworking is preferred, but not required. A willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety protocols and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical or plumbing systems is advantageous but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation is a must.

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Education:

- Secondary School (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certified Safety Professional (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
