Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman B Pressure Welder CWB to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations on pressure vessels, piping, and ductwork using advanced welding techniques. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet strict safety standards, technical specifications, and quality expectations. Responsibilities

- Execute welding procedures using MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and plasma cutting techniques to fabricate pressure components with precision.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Rigging materials and equipment safely and efficiently for installation or movement within the workspace.
- Operate machinery such as press brake machines, machining tools, and power tools to shape, cut, and assemble metal components.
- Use calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to ensure parts meet exact specifications.
- Perform welding inspections and quality checks to verify weld integrity and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols related to welding, fabrication, and construction activities.

Qualifications





- Proven experience as a Journeyman B Pressure Welder with CWB certification and pressure vessel or pipe welding.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and plasma cutting processes with a strong understanding of welding codes and standards.
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment such as cranes, forklifts, press brakes, and schematics reading.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in rigging, assembly, ductwork fabrication, and construction-related tasks.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with machining operations and the use of schematics for complex fabrication projects is preferred.
- Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow all safety procedures related to welding and manufacturing environments.
- Bonus - candidates with overhead crane experience.

Pay: $43.00-$45.00 per hour
