Property Maintenance Technician

Fall and Winter Seasonal Position

Lawn ’N’ Order Custom Landscapes is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance Technician to assist with fall property maintenance and winter snow-clearing operations at residential and commercial properties throughout Winnipeg.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details others miss, and is comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions. Duties will transition from fall cleanups to snow removal as the season changes.

Fall Responsibilities

- Completing residential and commercial fall cleanups
- Leaf blowing, collection, loading, and removal
- Trimming around buildings, signs, fences, trees, and landscape features
- Removing weeds, debris, litter, and organic material
- Pruning and cleaning up overgrown vegetation
- Performing final property inspections and touch-up work
- Assisting property-maintenance crews as required
- Operating blowers, trimmers, mowers, and other equipment safely and efficiently

Winter Responsibilities

- Clearing snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, stairs, ramps, and other designated areas
- Operating snow blowers, power brooms, shovels, and related equipment
- Applying sand when directed
- Assisting snow-clearing crews at residential and commercial properties
- Monitoring properties for snow accumulation, ice buildup, and access concerns
- Completing follow-up scraping and cleanup when required
- Working safely and efficiently during active winter conditions

Qualifications





- Experience in property maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, fall cleanup, or snow removal is an asset
- Robust attention to detail and pride in the finished result
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, shovel, bend, and work in cold or wet conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Valid driver’s license is considered an asset
- Experience operating lawn or snow-removal equipment is considered an asset

Winter Availability

Snow removal is weather-dependent. Applicants must be prepared to work flexible hours during snowfall events, including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
