Part-Time / On-Call | $20.00/hour | 5-Hour Minimum Pay

APS Driveway Sealing is looking for a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Asphalt & Driveway Sealing Technician to join our team in Sudbury and surrounding areas.

This is a part-time, on-call position ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, takes pride in doing quality work, and is interested in learning and developing skills in the asphalt maintenance industry.

What You’ll Do

- Perform residential and commercial driveway sealing
- Perform crack filling and crack repair
- Prepare asphalt surfaces before sealing
- Clean, blow, edge, and prepare driveways for application
- Operate sealing equipment, blowers, weed trimmers, and other tools
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials
- Transport equipment and materials to job sites
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow proper safety procedures and company standards
- Communicate professionally with customers when working at their properties
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality

What We’re Looking For

- Valid G Class Driver’s Licence is required
- Reliable and dependable

- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Good attention to detail
- Previous experience in driveway sealing, crack filling, asphalt, landscaping, construction, or general labour is an asset





Previous driveway sealing or crack-filling experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is motivated and dependable.

Pay & Hours

$20.00 per hour

5-hour minimum guaranteed per call-out.

For example, if you are called in for a job and the work is completed in only 2 hours, you will still be paid for the 5-hour minimum.

This is a part time, on-call position, with hours depending on customer bookings, weather, and seasonal demand. There is potential for additional hours for the right person.

Work Location

Sudbury and surrounding areas

Employees must be comfortable travelling to different residential and commercial job sites throughout the Greater Sudbury area.
