Vac Services Dispatcher

Location: Grande Prairie, AB
Department: Vac Services
Schedule: 9 days on / 5 days off
Hours: In office 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Friday during your rotation, plus overnight/weekend on-call coverage for your assigned week

We operate a large, modern fleet supporting fluid hauling, combo-vac, hydro-vac, and industrial services. Our reputation is built on safety, reliability, and doing the job right.

We are currently looking to add an experienced Dispatcher to our Grande Prairie operations team.

Role Overview

As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating combo-vac and hydro-vac operations, managing daily schedules, responding to customer requests, and supporting field operators. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires robust communication, organization, and decision-making skills.

This position is based on-site in Grande Prairie and plays a key role in keeping our vac operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispatch combo-vac and hydro-vac units to customer locations
- Coordinate operators, equipment, and job priorities throughout the day
- Answer incoming customer calls and schedule jobs according to unit availability
- Communicate clearly with job supervisors and operators regarding job details, site requirements, and changes
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules as required




- Support after-hours operations during your assigned on-call rotation
- Maintain accurate dispatch notes and records
- Work closely with operations and management to ensure service expectations are met
- Work closely with maintenance teams to plan unit maintenance schedules as needed

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of dispatch experience
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast paced dispatch environment
- Comfortable working in an in-office setting with rotating on-call responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

- Class 3 or Class 1 driver’s license
- Experience dispatching combo-vac or hydro-vac units
- Familiarity with oilfield operations and service-based scheduling
