For over 35 years, 255 by Alta Rossa has proudly served the Vaughan community with authentic Italian cuisine and artisan pizza. We are a high-volume, well-established restaurant built on consistency, professionalism, and respect for the craft.

We are seeking an experienced Artisan Pizza Chef who takes pride in quality, works cleanly and efficiently, and values being part of a disciplined, team-oriented kitchen.

Please Note **. This is not a training position. We are looking for a skilled skilled who can step into service confidently.

Schedule

Tuesday–Saturday

3:00 PM – Close (approx. 10:30 PM)

Responsibilities

- Hand stretch and execute gourmet artisan pizzas (no rollers)
- Maintain high standards of dough fermentation and sauce preparation
- Execute multiple pizzas simultaneously during peak service
- Ensure station is fully prepped, organized, and service-ready
- Contribute to pizza features and seasonal specials
- Uphold kitchen cleanliness, timing, and communication standards

Qualifications

- Minimum 4 years restaurant pizza experience
- Confident hand stretching technique
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, structured kitchen
- Strong understanding of artisan dough handling

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 35.0 per week
