Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our busy specialty practice Capital Periodontics full-time. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Responsibilities

- Perform dental cleanings, including sub gingival scaling to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and process dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
- Manage patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Support the dental team with sterilization and infection control protocols




- Ensure a welcoming environment that promotes excellent customer service

Skills

- Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental office management software
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

This role will be three shifts a week with an additional fourth day to be added with patient load.

- No evening or weekends
- Uniforms provided
- Complimentary parking in front of building

(Dentrix knowledge, and periodontal experience an asset)

Pay: From $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 36.0 per week
