Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and components for menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean working environment.
- Maintain proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders.




- Restock supplies and organize workstation for optimal workflow.
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly.
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
