Job Summary

Join our dynamic winter maintenance team as a Loader Operator dedicated to efficient snow plowing operations during the harsh winter months. Duties

- Operate loaders and other heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling machinery to efficiently clear snow and ice.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective snow removal strategies tailored to different sites and weather conditions.
- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs using your mechanical knowledge to minimize downtime.
- Support paving, grading, or construction activities as needed during off-peak snow removal periods.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents during heavy equipment operation in winter conditions.




- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and work completed for reporting purposes.

Experience

- Proven experience operating loaders, dozers, excavators, graders, backhoes, or similar heavy machinery in a construction or municipal setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and troubleshooting on heavy equipment such as Caterpillar or similar brands.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials as required.
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques or paving operations is a plus but not mandatory.
- Prior experience working in winter weather conditions performing snow plowing or related tasks is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment safety standards and best practices for operating in challenging outdoor environments.
- Construction experience that demonstrates adaptability across various roles within infrastructure projects is advantageous.

Pay: $18.25-$30.00 per hour
