Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Snow Removal Specialist and help keep outdoor spaces safe, accessible, and well-maintained during the winter months. This role is vital in ensuring pathways, driveways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas are cleared efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, snow blowers, and salt spreaders to clear designated areas swiftly and thoroughly
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove snow from walkways, stairs, entrances, and other hard-to-reach spots
- Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice formation and ensure safe walking surfaces
- Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces to identify areas needing additional attention or repair
- Maintain and perform basic mechanical checks on equipment to ensure optimal operation during shifts
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during snow removal activities
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate efforts for large-scale snow clearing projects efficiently
Skills
- Experience operating snow removal machinery such as excavators or skid steers is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues quickly on-site
- Familiarity with gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or irrigation systems is a plus for multi-season property care
- Ability to use hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools safely and effectively
- Construction experience can be beneficial for understanding site safety and repair needs during winter operations
- Solid physical stamina to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting completed tasks

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
