Solar Appointment Setter – Entry to High-Ticket Sales

This is not your typical job.

At Nova Renewables, we’re building a high-performance sales team that helps homeowners switch to clean, affordable solar energy. We’re looking for driven individuals to start as Appointment Setters, with a clear path to becoming a Solar Sales Advisor.

Our top earner is on pace to make over 7 figures a year with several of our salespeople on pace to make multiple 6 figures.

You’ll be trained directly by top-performing earners and will be setting appointments for one of the top solar closers in Canada, giving you exposure to elite-level sales processes from day one.

Overview

As a Solar Setter, your primary role is to generate and qualify leads by booking appointments with homeowners for our Solar Advisors.

You’ll be the first point of contact—educating homeowners, creating interest, and setting qualified appointments.

This is a door-to-door role, ideal for individuals who are:

Compensation

- Average earnings: $70,000 – $120,000+ / year
- Top performers: $150,000+

Responsibilities

- Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned Calgary neighborhoods
- Engage homeowners and educate them on solar energy benefits
- Qualify prospects based on homeownership and interest
- Book appointments for Solar Advisors
- Track activity using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar)
- Represent Nova Renewables with professionalism and energy
- Continuously improve through training and coaching

Skills & Requirements

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and resilience (ability to handle rejection)
- Sales experience is an asset but not required
- Highly coachable and willing to learn
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)

Schedule

- Monday to Saturday
- 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM (prime door-knocking hours)

Qualifications:

- Strong communicator who can connect with people easily
- Self-driven and able to stay productive without being micromanaged
- Positive attitude with the ability to handle rejection and stay focused on goals
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners face-to-face in a door-to-door environment
- No sales experience needed — we train you from the ground up

- In person (Calgary, AB and surrounding areas)
