We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual with a strong carpentry background who is looking to grow their career beyond the tools and into leadership within the construction industry.

This role is a unique blend of hands-on carpentry and site support responsibilities. The successful candidate will actively participate in carpentry projects and site execution while also assisting with project coordination, trade communication, and day-to-day supervisory tasks. This position offers valuable exposure to construction leadership and is ideal for someone interested in pursuing a future supervisory or site management role.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform hands-on carpentry work, including framing, finishing, installations, and general construction tasks as required.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of daily site activities.
- Work closely with Site Supervisors and Project Managers to maintain project schedules and site productivity.
- Support trade coordination and help ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor quality of work and maintain high construction standards.
- Foster positive working relationships with trades, subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Assist with site documentation, planning, and communication as required.
- Take on increasing leadership responsibilities throughout the duration of the contract.

Qualifications

Required

- Carpentry background with practical construction experience.
- Strong understanding of construction methods,



sequencing, and site operations.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with and leading others in a professional manner.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain approachable working relationships across all levels of a project team.

Preferred Assets

- Previous experience in a supervisory, lead hand, or foreperson role.
- Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience working on commercial construction projects.
- Robust organizational and problem-solving skills.
