Carpenter/Drywall Lead Tech

Winmar Ottawa is a leading, full-service disaster restoration company, specializing in water, fire and mould mitigation and associated rebuild services. Winmar Cornwall has identified the need for a Full-Time Carpenter.

The successful candidate can expect to earn a competitive salary with comprehensive benefits, working 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Hourly salary can be expected between $28-32 relative to experience.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years carpentry experience
- Red Seal certification is considered an asset and will be reflected in wage offer
- Post-Secondary education is considered an asset
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols
- Working knowledge of Ontario Building Code
- Able to follow a scope, read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Able to construct building framework, including (but not limited to) wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes, etc.




- Able to handle some finishing work, including (but not limited to) drywall, trims, etc.
- Able to oversee a team of 1-3, under the direction of a Project Manager
- Valid G Class driver’s license
- Able to provide a current police check

- Ability to work independently, at times with minimal supervision

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
