Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential framing to commercial builds, and industrial work contributing your craftsmanship to create durable and aesthetically pleasing structures.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
- Construct frameworks, walls, partitions, and other structures using wood, drywall, siding, and concrete forms.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Perform concrete finishing and forming tasks for foundations, or other structural elements.
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishes with precision and attention to detail.




- Conduct restoration work by repairing or replacing damaged structures or fixtures in existing buildings.
- Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols; assist with site cleanup and organization.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in carpentry or construction work with a strong understanding of building processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, woodworking equipment, and heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, drywall installation, siding application, and welding is highly desirable.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality craftsmanship.

Pay: $30.00-$39.95 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 per week
