In this energetic role you will operate excavators to perform a variety of excavation, and site preparation tasks. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Duties

- Matting blasts
- Road building
- Support drilling and blasting operations however necessary.
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently across diverse construction sites.
- Conduct daily inspections of excavators to identify mechanical issues and report issues promptly.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to execute excavation plans according to project specifications and safety protocols.

Experience

- Experience operating an excavator with a drilling and blasting crew is an asset. (matting blasts, etc)
- Experience operating a John Deere 350 or a CAT 336 is an asset.




- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction environment with a solid understanding of heavy equipment operation.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures to promote a secure work environment.

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 – 55.0 per week
