Assistant Manager – Tim Hortons, Amherstburg Location

We're a locally owned group of Tim Hortons restaurants, and we're growing. We're looking for an Assistant Manager who gets their energy from people. You'd rather coach a team through a rush than do it all yourself. You stay calm when things go sideways, and you know the regulars by name. What you'll do

Lead your team

- Recruit, train and develop team members, and spot high-potential people for their next step
- Set goals with your team and give ongoing feedback to help them reach those goals
- Keep an open door,



and keep every shift informed through your communication and daily check-ins
- Handle performance conversations fairly and professionally

Run a great restaurant

- Deliver a friendly, fast and accurate guest experience, and handle concerns with care
- Build schedules, manage labour, and support ordering, inventory and waste control
- Uphold food safety, quality and cleanliness standards
- Keep team members and guests safe, follow security procedures, and follow all applicable legislation
- Handle administrative duties including payroll entry, onboarding, reporting and budgeting

Help us get better

- See the restaurant through the guest's eyes and use what you notice to improve
- Share ideas for doing things better across our stores
- Keep open communication with your General Manager and the owners
