OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Founder/CEO, as Project Manager, you will be sought for automation industry projects, requiring strong leadership, scheduling, and budgeting skills. Must coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, and ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery. Engineering background, ability to handle high-pressure environments are essential.
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM, and you must be flexible with working overtime

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, coordinate, and manage project schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables across multidisciplinary teams
- Define,
monitor, and control project scope; ensure alignment with customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with Sales and Applications teams to review new projects, validate scope, and confirm budget feasibility
- Develop and maintain project schedules with customers and internal teams, ensuring clarity of milestones and expectations
- Track project labor hours, identify variances from budget, and communicate gaps or risks to relevant teams
- Monitor daily project progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to design, schedule, budget, or customer needs
- Create and maintain ASANA project timelines, templates and workflows to improve communication, task clarity, and continuous improvement
- Read, interpret, and apply advanced engineering drawings, technical specifications, and related documentation
- Participate in design reviews to ensure engineering outputs align with project scope and quality standards
- Coordinate project invoicing with the Finance department and ensure timely payment
- Foster robust relationships and maintain open communication with internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and project execution
- Lead, mentor and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results within tight timelines
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced engineering environment
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Successfully completed a university degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electro-Mechanical technology
- Education in the Project Management Field is an asset
- 5 to 7 years of relevant engineering/project management experience within the Automotive Industry
- Advanced proficiency within Google Workspace, MS Office, and ASANA (or similar Collaborative Work Management Software tool) with a strong working knowledge of their features and functionality
- Familiarity with AUTOCAD and SolidWorks, or other CAD software tools would be an asset
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiation, accounting principles and sound business practices
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Competitive Compensation Salary Range: $95,000 - $133,000 annually, commensurate with experience
