Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all prescriptions are prepared according to medical orders.
Manage inventory by receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized storage of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering guidance on over-the-counter products, and supporting medication administration under supervision.
Maintain accurate records of medication transactions, prescriptions, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Utilize medical terminology effectively to understand prescriptions and communicate clearly with healthcare professionals and patients.
Support the pharmacy team during busy periods by handling administrative tasks such as data entry, filing,



and processing insurance claims.
Ensure the pharmacy setting adheres to safety standards and cleanliness protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Experience as a pharmacy assistant or in medication management enhances your suitability for this role.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures is essential.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care are required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry are necessary.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
