Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Stone Fabricator, Templator & Installer to join our team.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working with granite, quartz, quartzite, and other natural and engineered stone products, and be comfortable taking a project from template through fabrication and final installation of both residential and commercial projects.

This is a hands-on position requiring solid attention to detail, craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Templating

- Accurately measure and template countertops, vanities, islands, and other stone projects.
- Identify job-site conditions that may affect fabrication or installation.
- Verify dimensions, wall conditions, appliance locations, sinks, cooktops, and other specifications.
- Communicate measurements and job requirements clearly to the fabrication team.
- Use digital templating equipment/software when applicable.

Fabrication

- Fabricate granite, quartz, quartzite, and other stone surfaces according to specifications.
- Operate bridge saws, CNC equipment, polishers, routers, water-fed tools, and other stone fabrication equipment.
- Perform cutting, edging, polishing, drilling, sink cutouts, cooktop cutouts, and other finishing work.
- Inspect finished pieces for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Follow safe material-handling and fabrication procedures.

Installation

- Safely load, transport, and handle stone slabs and finished pieces.
- Install countertops, backsplashes, vanities, islands, and related stone products.




- Complete seams, joints, sink installations, caulking, leveling, and finishing work.
- Ensure installations are properly fitted, secure, level, and finished to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and professional job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, designers, and other trades.

Requirements

- Previous experience in stone fabrication and/or countertop installation.
- Solid knowledge of granite, quartz, and quartzite.
- Experience with templating and accurate field measurements.
- Ability to read shop drawings, plans, and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy stone materials.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Experience with digital templating/CNC equipment is preferred but not required
- Basic mechanical aptitude is an asset
