Responsibilities

- Serve meals to residents with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency, ensuring their dietary needs are met accurately.
- Assist with meal preparation, food handling, and plating to support kitchen staff in delivering quality dining experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning dining areas, utensils, and food service equipment regularly.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage time effectively to serve meals promptly during designated hours, supporting smooth dining operations.
- Support with food distribution,



including assisting residents with their trays as needed.
- Document meal service activities accurately and report any concerns or dietary restrictions to supervisory staff.

Experience

- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with residents or patients.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, serving techniques, and sanitation procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in food safety standards and proper cleaning protocols ensures a safe dining environment for all.
