Job purpose: To manage the 3PL services within our facility, inventory management and order fulfillment. Oversee the facility and equipment.
Duties and responsibilities:
Inventory Management
- Record all inventory into our WMS Cargowise
- Manage all receiving functions and processes
- Manage all order fulfillment
- Manage all shipping functions and processes
- Provide all CW WMS Reports, as required
- Shared P&L; responsibility, with Sales.
Labour
- Hire and train employees
- Annual reviews of employees
- Manage labour resources to client services
- Ensure health & safety of employees
Facility & Equipment
- Ensure Security Protocols are being adhered to.
- Ensure WHSE is Clean and Safe
- Procurement & Maintenance of all equipment
Customer Service
- Ensure SLAs are being met
- Ensure client communication is timely and accurate
- Accurate timely billing
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years Warehouse Management experience. Forklift & Reach Truck experience and license. Computer skills and experience working with WMS (Cargowise WMS experience preferred, but not essential).
Ideal candidate should have 3PL experience
Qualifications include:
· Minimum grade 12 diploma
· Experience and license for forklift and reach truck.
· Above average communication Skills
· Ability to multitask and prioritize, regularly.
· Motivational and Team building skills.
· Professional Certification, WHMIS
· Minimum 5 years Work Experience
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment. Overtime and/or weekend work may be a requirement, occasionally.
Direct Reports:
- Warehouse Supervisor, material handlers, shippers, receivers.
