Little Learning House Child Care Centres is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dependable Early Childhood Educator Assistant or Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team!

We are seeking someone who enjoys working with children, values teamwork and is committed to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, play and grow.

The Position

As a member of our early learning team, you will:

- Provide responsive, nurturing care and supervision to children.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, cognitive and communication development.
- Participate in age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
- Follow children's interests and encourage learning through play.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, toileting, rest time and transitions.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe classroom setting.
- Work collaboratively with other educators and centre staff.
- Follow Little Learning House policies and procedures.
- Follow the requirements of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and applicable regulations.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families and colleagues.
- Participate in program planning, staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain appropriate skilled boundaries with children and families.

QualificationsRECE Applicants

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification,



or willingness to obtain/renew as required.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain one as required.
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, professional and compassionate approach to working with children.

ECE Assistant Applicants

- Meets the applicable requirements to work as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant under the CCEYA and its regulations.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification, or willingness to obtain/renew as required.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain one as required.
- Previous experience working with children is an asset.
- A caring, patient and positive approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and professional work ethic.
