Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and productive workflow
- Assist dentists during examinations, procedures, and treatments with confidence and professionalism
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging technology when applicable
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software to ensure seamless documentation
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Support front desk operations by handling dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and verifying patient information




- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures tailored to pediatric and adult patients

Requirements

- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in accordance with provincial regulations
- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures, including radiography and sterilization protocols
- Familiarity with dental software systems for record management
- Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Experience supporting pediatric patients with gentle care and patience in a busy clinical environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $20.78-$34.79 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
