We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to join our busy restaurant team. The ideal candidate will help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly while also assisting with basic food preparation when required.

Previous experience is an asset, but we are happy to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage spaces.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Keep workstations, floors, equipment, and kitchen areas clean and organized.
- Receive, organize, and properly store food and supply deliveries.
- Take out garbage, recycling, and maintain waste disposal areas.
- Restock kitchen supplies as required.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Complete opening, closing, and general cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.




- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active tasks.
- Previous kitchen helper, dishwasher, or restaurant experience is an asset but not required.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Adaptable availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
