Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with explicit communication and enthusiasm
- Relay orders accurately to the kitchen, ensuring timely food preparation and presentation
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure dishes are served promptly and meet quality standards
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and payment processing with accuracy
- Assist in food handling, preparation, and plating when needed to support kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly sanitizing dining areas, utensils, and service stations
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; experience in serving or expo roles is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order management and cashiering
- Kitchen or culinary experience including meal preparation or cooking skills is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
