We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service/Cashier to join our energetic team in the food service industry. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer experiences while efficiently managing cashiering responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food handling, cashiering, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their ordering process, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash, credit, or digital payments.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout.
- Manage food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment by coordinating with kitchen staff and managing time effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.




- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures diligently during food preparation and serving.

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food service within a restaurant or similar environment.
- Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong cash handling skills coupled with basic math abilities for accurate change calculation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is highly advantageous.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding food preparation processes.
