Dirtworks is hiring Snow Shovelers/Labourers for the upcoming 2026–2027 winter season to service our commercial snow and ice management contracts throughout Thunder Bay.
This is a seasonal, weather-dependent position. Employees must be available when snow and ice events occur, including overnights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
Job Duties:
- Shovelling and clearing sidewalks, entrances, stairs and other pedestrian areas
- Operating snowblowers and other small snow removal equipment
- Applying ice control products when required
- Working alongside our equipment operators and site supervisors
- Keeping commercial properties clean, safe and accessible throughout winter storms
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable and able to report to work when called
- Comfortable working outdoors in winter conditions
- Able to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Able to follow instructions and work safely around snow removal equipment
- Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Previous snow removal or labour experience is an asset, but not required
Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work.
This is a outstanding seasonal position for someone looking to earn additional income throughout the winter. Hours will vary depending on weather and snowfall.
Competitive hourly wages based on experience.
