Snow Shoveler
Captivated Construction | Halifax, NS
Seasonal | $20 to $22/hr
There's no machine for every job. Some of it still comes down to a shovel and a solid back.
We need shovelers to clear steps, walkways, and entrances across Halifax this winter. It's cold work and it's honest work. You'll finish a shift tired, and you'll know exactly what you did with your day.
What you'll do:
- Shovel and clear steps, sidewalks, and entryways
- Spread salt and ice melt
- Work alongside the equipment crews to finish each site
- Keep things safe for the people walking in after you
What we need:
- Able to work outside in rough weather for long stretches
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry salt bags
- Available early mornings, nights, and weekends when it snows
- Reliable. Your crew is counting on you to be there
No experience needed. Bring good boots and a good attitude. We'll handle the rest.
Put in a good winter and there's a shot at summer work with our construction crew. We'd rather keep good people than go looking for new ones.
