Job Summary
As a General Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming. Your hands-on expertise will be essential to maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and improving the environment for employees and visitors. With your diverse skill set, you will tackle a variety of tasks that keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll do

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.
- Execute welding tasks as needed to ensure structural integrity and safety.
- Conduct residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic appeal in common areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and visitors.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Oversee the surveying of buildings and equipment to ensure they maintain proper health and safety standards
- Conduct repairs on the company or building’s equipment such as heating and cooling systems, plumbing systems, or electrical systems
- Perform general aesthetic upkeep, which can include painting, basic carpentry, or landscaping
- Handle pest control issues by spraying insecticide or calling and coordinating with the appropriate professionals
- Ensure alarm systems are functioning properly and respond when there are issues




- Maintain and carry out a calendar of monthly and annual equipment checkups or repairs

Basic qualifications

- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
