Shape the Future of Construction in BC

Ron Anderson & Sons (RAS) is seeking an experienced EWP Designer to help advance wood-frame construction through technical expertise, practical innovation, and prefabrication.

We’re looking for a proactive expert and practical problem-solver who identifies issues early, investigates options, and drives buildable solutions. Working closely with engineers, contractors, and our in-house fabrication team, you’ll take ownership of engineered wood floor and roof designs from initial layout through production.

This is more than a layout role. It’s an chance to tackle complex projects, see your designs built, and help shape a growing design department.

About RAS

Founded in 1994, RAS specializes in multi-family and residential wood-frame construction on Vancouver Island. Our in-house design department, established in 2022, connects EWP design directly with prefabrication and field installation.

We combine hands-on construction experience with modern design software and precision equipment. Our engineered wood floor panels are designed and manufactured in-house, supporting faster installation, greater accuracy, and reduced job site waste.

Join an established construction company where your expertise and ideas can help strengthen how we design, coordinate, and manufacture.
