As a scheduling technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of our manufacturing operations. Based on priorities set by the planning team, you’ll set the pace for production by coordinating work orders, analyzing capacity, and anticipating constraints before they become issues.

On a daily basis, you’ll work closely with production, planning, and procurement to find solutions and keep operations moving. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment will have a tangible impact on our ability to produce efficiently and meet our commitments.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Schedule production orders in the ERP system according to priorities established by planning and ensure an efficient production sequence
- Analyze the manufacturing workload and capacity, identify bottlenecks, and anticipate constraints that could affect production lead times
- Monitor production variances and coordinate necessary adjustments with production, planning, and procurement
- Evaluate outsourcing needs and opportunities to optimize capacity, lead times, and resource utilization
- Monitor critical or time-sensitive materials to minimize losses and impacts on operations
- Analyze data and performance metrics using Excel and the ERP system to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of scheduling methods and manufacturing processes by proposing solutions to enhance operational efficiency

With the following skills and qualities, you will thrive in this role:

- A degree in operations management, logistics, industrial engineering, or any other combination of experience and/or education
- Relevant experience in scheduling, production planning,



or manufacturing coordination
- Excellent proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and data analysis tools
- A good understanding of manufacturing processes, production capacity, and priority management
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to dig deep to understand a situation and find solutions
- Knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity management, and scheduling
- Attention to detail, independence, and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to anticipate the impacts of one’s decisions
