Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, dozers, and horizontal drilling machines to install, repair, or maintain water and sewer lines.
- Conduct site preparation including trenching, grading, paving, and backfilling to support infrastructure projects.
- Perform routine maintenance and mechanical inspections on equipment like Caterpillar machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with the installation of underground utilities using construction best practices while adhering to safety standards.
- Drive commercial vehicles safely to transport materials and equipment between job sites.




- Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently while maintaining a secure work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents on site.

Experience

- Prior construction experience with a focus on water or sewer projects is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated heavy equipment operation skills including excavator, loader, backhoe, grader, dozer, and horizontal drilling machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machines.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations.
- Experience working with various construction tools and machinery in outdoor environments.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 66.0 – 77.0 per week
