Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Machinist - Journeyman or Apprentice to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machining and drilling components, with a focus on drilling structures used in the oil and gas sector. The Machinist will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality products. We work 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday (Saturdays as needed).

Responsibilities:
- Perform lathe operations according to drawings and specifications.
- Utilize various lathe, drill press, band saw & milling machine equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Inspect completed components for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience:




- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Machinist or Apprentice.
- Proficient in reading and interpretation of machine drawings.
- Robust knowledge of machining techniques and equipment.
- Ability to accurately measure and cut materials.
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes.

-CNC experience an asset.

We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
