We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Vaughan for an experienced Industrial Mechanic / Millwright (433A).

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, motors, and gearboxes.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
- Maintain and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment
- Perform fabrication and welding, including cutting and MIG welding
- Perform basic machining when required
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics
- Use power tools, hand tools, shop equipment, and measuring instruments safely
- Follow preventative maintenance procedures and maintenance schedules
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, including WHMIS, GMP, LOTO, and Hot Work Permit requirements.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic / Millwright (433A) certification – required
- Previous industrial maintenance/mechanical experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Experience with pumps, motors, and gearboxes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Fabrication and MIG welding experience
- Basic machining knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics
- Knowledge of WHMIS, GMP, LOTO, and Hot Work procedures
- Ability to work safely and independently in an industrial/manufacturing workplace

Compensation

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s years of experience, technical knowledge, qualifications/certifications, and education.
