Job Title: Technical Content Writer (hardware)

What you will be doing:

- Gather and interpret technical information from multiple sources

- Create explanatory 2D graphics using specific design software

- Produce and edit installation guides and user manuals for new and existing products

- Maintain and update a body of existing product documentation

- Create and maintain HTML files for help systems and on-line documentation

- Coordinate and collaborate with product teams to deliver content that aligns with business needs and timing

What you must have:

- Demonstrated technical and promotional writing/illustration experience

- Ability to effectively target different audiences and clearly describe complex hardware and software products

- Proficient in the use of desktop publishing illustration software on the Windows platform

- Excellent interpersonal skills: team player, able to deal effectively with people, self motivated

- A strong technical aptitude

- Lifelong learner: not afraid to investigate current topics with minimal guidance

Salary/Rate: $75.00/hour
