Qualicare Homecare seeks a dedicated full time Personal Support Worker for 4-5 days a week. You will deliver personalized care, assist with activities of daily living, prepare meals, and help with light housekeeping. Ideal candidates must have solid communication skills and experience using a hoyer lift to ensure client safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Prepare nutritious meals as per care plans
• Manage light housekeeping tasks efficiently
• Perform shopping and run errands for clients
• Provide medication reminders and companionship
Requirements:
• Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate
• Direct experience with hoyer lift usage
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Recent Police Record Check or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
