Contribute to a clean environment as a Custodian at ESS Canada with the key responsibility of maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of our facilities. This role includes heavy cleaning duties across various surfaces.
As a Custodian/Janitor, you will ensure buildings are orderly and safe for patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include stripping and waxing floors, washing walls and windows, and taking the initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks. A strong command of English and previous custodial experience is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize assigned areas using proper materials
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors effectively




• Move furniture and equipment for thorough cleaning
• Collect and dispose of trash per infection control plans
• Wash various surfaces including walls and windows
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of housekeeping/custodial experience
• Experience in stripping and waxing floors
• Valid Driver's License required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Physically able to perform job duties
