Our continued success is rooted in our commitment to integrity, collaboration, and service excellence.Position OverviewThe Associate Broker, Commercial Risk Solutions, is responsible for the day-to-day management and servicing of commercial insurance accounts across a diverse range of industries. The Associate Broker will independently manage assigned SME and mid-market accounts, including renewals, marketing, placement, policy documentation and ongoing client service.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage preparation of renewal documents, proposals, summaries of insurance, certificates, binders and other client deliverablesSupport client onboarding and renewal processes by gathering underwriting information, preparing applications and updating internal systemsMaintain accurate and up-to-date client records and policy documentationCoordinate with internal teams (e.G. Claims, Accounting, Compliance) to ensure seamless client service and issue resolutionPrepare marketing submissions for insurers and assist with the placement process under the direction of a senior brokerLead the placement and negotiation of coverage for assigned accounts,
while collaborating with Client Executives on larger or more complex placementsTrack carrier responses, compile quote comparisons, and support the development of recommendation reportsParticipate in insurer meetings and internal strategy discussions as neededReview and process policy documentation, endorsements and invoicing with a high degree of accuracyPrepare and review benchmarking, loss summary and other client-facing reportsTrack and monitor key dates and service deliverables to ensure timely follow-up and executionRequirements8+ years of experience in commercial insurance, preferably within a brokerage environmentExperience supporting mid-market or large commercial accounts across multiple industriesRIBO licenseCAIB, CIP or CRM designations are assetsWorking knowledge of property and casualty insurance products, coverage structures, policy documentation, and placement processExperience negotiating with insurers and working directly with underwriters and other insurance partnersProficient with Microsoft Office toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative team player with a proactive, service-oriented mindsetWhy ApplyAt Purves Redmond Limited,

The base salary range for this role is $85,000–$110,000. This range reflects the expected hiring range for the position and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and overall fit.
