We are seeking a dedicated Vegetable Farm Worker to assist in grading, harvesting, and sorting vegetables and fruits. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and market readiness of our produce, including carrots and potatoes. Expect to handle various tasks ranging from planting to packing while ensuring safety and bio-security procedures on the farm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Grade vegetables and fruits based on size and quality
• Hand harvest and pack produce efficiently
• Maintain and operate farm machinery and equipment
• Cultivate and irrigate crops as required
• Ensure adherence to safety and bio-security procedures
Requirements:
• Experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and heavy loads
• Team-oriented attitude and cooperative approach
• Flexibility for an on-the-road job
