Drive meaningful change in the lives of Albertans as a Forklift Operator with Goodwill Industries of Alberta. This full time role involves operating forklifts and ensuring safety in a warehouse environment.
This position is on-site under a temporary 3-month contract working 25-37.5 hours weekly. You will operate forklifts to move donated goods, perform inspections, stack and store products, and maintain safety compliance. Candidates with material-handling experience and a commitment to health and safety will thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts for loading and unloading donated items
• Conduct daily inspections, report mechanical issues
• Stack, store, and transport inventory effectively
• Load and unload trucks and containers for processing
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification or willingness to be trained
• Ability to lift over 10 kg and perform physical tasks
• Reliable English communication skills for documentation
