General Laborer

Pay

- $18 CAD/hr (probation first three months)
- $18.72 following three-month probationary period

Job Summary

Support the production and repack operations through the physical movement of products that are required to be processed through the drying/curing room.

Responsibilities

- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
- Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
- Pack materials and products for shipment or storage according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Label items accurately and clearly in accordance with shipping and inventory guidelines.
- Strap, wrap, or secure packages and pallets to ensure safe transport and storage.
- Clean equipment, work areas, and general facility space to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
- Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
- Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
- Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
- Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
- Other duties asassigned.

Qualifications

- Hardworking and enthusiastic
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Able to manage and set priorities in a changing environment.
- High degree of self-motivation and flexibility.




- Analytical and structured work approach.

Physical Demands

- Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs, and push or pull up to 100lbs

Schedule

- Sunday through Tuesday - 6pm-6am
